10K for Cambodia Update!

The27project has officially been launched! The first race of the27project was everything we could have hoped for and more! God is so good, so faithful.

A group of 50 World Racers ran/walked in the 10K for Cambodia in Bangkok, Thailand to raise awareness and funding to fight human trafficking; the running participants were joined in prayer by hundreds of  people across the United States. The event took place in a beautiful park, in which Thai men, women, and children were running alongside participants. They were unaware of what we were doing, but it was such a sweet moment of the Lord creating a stirring in the nation of Thailand and the industry of human trafficking.

It's incredible that such a large amount of provision was given to the prevention and restoration of victims of human trafficking, considering the first race was small-scale compared to the vision behind the27project. There will be a more detailed update soon of the orphanages that will benefit from this funding. Thank you for your continued prayers and support! Your voice is important. Keep the passion alive!

trafficking; founded by a sweet friend named Emily Milroy.
Members of the October 2011 World Race Squad were the participants
of the27project's first event! The vision of the27project was birthed
during our founder's journey on the World Race.
Wade Carlton, right, received 1st place in the 10K for Cambodia;
Thomas Wensil, left, received 2nd place.
Keep in mind that the27project is still small and growing, so technically
the winners only received a high-five! Great job guys!
